I’ve loved Christmas ornaments for as long as I can remember.
One of my earliest Christmas memories is a little aluminum tree with pink pine cones. It wasn’t fancy, but I thought it was beautiful. That tree stayed with me because it felt special, and that feeling is still what I look for when I make an ornament today.
How It Started
I’ve always been drawn to handmade things, especially the little details that make something feel personal.
Over time, that love turned into making ornaments by hand, one at a time. I use ribbon, fabric, pearls, lace, stones, florals, and other small details to create pieces that feel finished, thoughtful, and worth keeping.
Most of my handmade ornaments are one of a kind. I like knowing that when someone chooses one, it becomes theirs in a very real way.
What I Make
I make ornaments for the moments people want to remember.
A new baby. A wedding. A new home. A favorite pet. A family tradition. Someone deeply missed.
Some ornaments are soft and sentimental. Others are jeweled, elegant, playful, or wonderfully Christmasy.
I don’t try to make every ornament look the same. I’d rather let each one have its own personality.
Why It Matters to Me
I think ornaments become little memory keepers.
You hang them on the tree year after year, and suddenly you’re remembering where you lived, who was there, who gave it to you, or what was happening in your life when it came home.
That’s why I make them carefully.
I want each ornament to feel like something worth taking out of the box every Christmas.
